An Explanation
Every once in a while I get an email from someone
angry that I offer products for sale in this newsletter.
Sometimes they even maliciously report us for sp'ahm,
and that's very naughty, when unsubscribing is so easy.
So here's why I do it, just in case you were wondering.
My purpose in life is to help people get in touch
with their spiritual power, take control of their life and
create prosperity, fulfillment and happiness. Everything
you see in this newsletter is something that I personally
know will help you do that. A great program on tapes or
CDs can change your life in a way that I can't do in this
newsletter. If you see it here, it's something I've used,
tested and personally endorse as life changing.
Some people believe that anything that is spiritual and
life changing should be f're'e. That belief demonstrates
their ignorance of spiritual law. Even the Bible says
that "the laborer is worthy of his hire." And Wallace
Wattles says, "you can only get what is yours by giving
the other person what is theirs." I do my best to get
great stuff at great prices, but it will never be fr'e'e.
Someone's sweat went into that product and they
deserve to be paid for it.
If you have any comments about this, please let me
know with the Comments form on the web site.
And now, a word from our sponsor:
Earl Nightingale once said, "Most people tiptoe through
life hoping to make it safely to death." If you're ready for
something more adventurous than that, you can see what
we have to make 2006 your best year ever! An array of
Bob Proctor's programs at up to 60% o'f'f. Goal achieving,
self image, sales, life success and spiritual power are
covered in these great programs.

This month I'm going to share a personal story about
something that has made me very grateful for something
it's easy to take for granted.
**************************************************************
"When Four Out Of Five Isn't Enough"
"Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know
what you've got 'til it's gone"-- Joni Mitchell
I do a regular gratitude list and enjoy finding the
things that I can be grateful for. But there's a lot
of things that never show up on my list because I
consider them common, ordinary, every day stuff.
I take them for granted.
Occasionally the Universe, in its infinite wisdom,
decides to remind me how valuable some of these
common, ordinary things are.
Last month my wife, Sandy, and I came home on
a Saturday evening after being out for a few hours
and as usual, our two dogs came to greet us. They're
both Labrador mixes, very people oriented and'
affectionate. Xena, the oldest at 9, is mostly black
Lab, while Gabrielle, 8, is kind of a yellow Lab with
long, spaniel hair.
Our first clue that something was wrong came when
Xena fell down the stairs. We live in a tri-level and from
the bedroom level to the living room is a short stairway.
We thought that since it was dark on the stairway
that she had just missed her footing, but when we got
lights on and checked her for damage from the fall
we realized that there was a more serious problem.
She was completely blind! We could see that she was
walking into things, bumping her head, feeling her way
around. We were stunned because we had not had any
real indication that she was losing her sight. She'd been
catching tennis balls just the day before.
After a complete exam, the veterinary opthamologist
(yes, there is such a person) told us that blood vessels
had ruptured in the back of her eyes, and the blindness
was likely permanent. The good news was that otherwise
she was in good health.
So Xena was going to have to live with her blindness,
and so were Sandy and I. And after two months of
adjustment, it's clear that Xena adapted much faster
than we did! In fact, her attitude is a textbook example of
Principle #2 from the Gratitude book - nonresistance.
Xena hasn't wasted any of her time complaining about life
being cruel and unfair. She has just set about learning the
house and yard in a new way. She doesn't complain about
the constant doses of eye drops, either. She finds her way
around, in and out the dog door, just like she always did.
In November we were gone for 4 days, and the dogs stayed
with friends who have a Golden Retriever. Xena learned their
house and yard in about an hour and had no problems
while we were gone. We, of course, agonized over leaving
her in unfamiliar surroundings. But she was fine.
So there's two gratitude lessons for me in this story, and, I
hope, for you, too. The first is that nonresistance, not arguing
with reality, makes life easier and adaptation faster. Xena is
my role model for this. I marvel at her every day.
The second lesson is that I am consciously grateful for my
sight! That was not on my list before, but it is now. It would
not even occur to me to complain about having to wear
glasses. I'm grateful I have to wear glasses! It means I can
see!
So this month I challenge you to find the things you are
taking for granted and be grateful for them. Remember what
Joni Mitchell wrote in her "Big Yellow Taxi" song:
"Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know
what you've got 'til it's gone"
I did have one strange thought about this situation, after
I finally got my sense of humor back. I was taking Xena
to the vet and as I led her on her leash into the office,
I thought, "How many people have ever seen a dog with
a seeing-eye man?"
Have a great month. I am grateful for each and
every one of you!
Peace and love,
Wes
