Gratitude Audio News
I've had a number of people buying multiple copies
of the Gratitude audio for friends and family, and my
favorite customer is a wonderful hospice chaplain in
Ohio who is using the CDs with hospice patients
and their families. God bless you, Rob, for the work
you do! All hospice workers are angels in disguise!
If you want to buy multiple copies, contact me first
and I'll see that you don't get charged too much for
shipping. Phone me or use the Comments form.

The Friendly Universe
You know that the first principle in the Law of
Gratitude is that we live in a friendly Universe. There
is no power out there that's just waiting to dump all
over you. The Universe is on your side, all the time.
But sometimes it seems that we do get dumped on.
Why does this happen? Are we thinking bad thoughts
and attracting the dump? Some would say so.
Last week I met a wonderful guy who has a different
take on this problem. His name is Steven Taylor and he's
the author of a powerful little book, "Row, Row Row Your
Boat" which is "A guide for living life in the divine flow."
He also believes in the friendly universe; that God is good,
all the time.
If you're a parent, you'll understand how he looks at the
causes of mishaps in our life. God has given us two
wonderful things - guidance and free will. The guidance
is always there, in the form of our intuition, the whispers
of Spirit within, nudging us in the right direction. Free will
gives us the choice to listen, or not.
Isn't that how it is with us and our kids? We're always
there with guidance, but it's not always heeded. When
the kids have a mishap, like my grandson who has
wrecked two cars, it's not because the parents were
punishing them. It's because they ignored the guidance.
Taylor says that when we ignore the guidance of God
within we are like a person trying to navigate a darkened
room without turning on the light. If we trip over the coffee
table it's not because someone is out to get us, and it's
not because we attracted the coffee table!
Turn on the light, take off the blindfold, and the guidance
is there for us. God is always seeking to move us smoothly
toward our highest good with the least amount of effort.
That's being "in the flow." But we have to listen.
There's lots more in this wonderful book, including real
examples of times the Taylor did, or did not, listen.
You'll love it. You can get the hardcover or ebook vesions
at his web site, which is (as you might expect)
RowRowRow.com/
You can also get the book on Amazon.
If you've ever felt you were rowing upstream in life instead of downstream,
this is the book for you. Learn to get in the flow and stay
there! Then it's easy to be grateful! And we know how
important that is.
Here's to rowing, gently, down the stream.
