I think that behind the dreams of each of us is a common purpose. We want to make a difference in the world. I find that many people have never recognized that grand purpose because they don’t think of themselves as someone who could do that. But it’s not that hard.
I finally realized after several years of writing and rewriting my purpose that behind every version was the same fundamental truth – I want to make a difference. I realized that the things that gave me joy were the times when I did make a difference, when someone was affected in a positive way by what I did or said.
That’s really all it takes to make a difference. Have a positive effect on
someone. Or several someones. I realized that the decisions I made about my business were unconsciously driven by that purpose. What I picked and what I avoided depended on whether it would help others to make a difference.
My way expressing my purpose is to help others learn how to make a difference. Yours will probably be different, but your heart knows what
it is. My job is to help you find your way. Your job is to make a difference your way! Some way that you will bring peace, joy, love, empowerment, or good of some kind to the world. Or to someone.
If you don’t know yet what that is would you be willing to take some time to think about it? It’s going to be something that really gives you
