Get The Audio
Did you know you can get "The Astonishing Power of
Gratitude" as an audio program? Pop it in your CD player
to and from work and watch your attitude change. Less
stress, more good things for you. It makes a great gift,
too, if I do say so myself. Get it here
"Be Grateful for Whaat?"
"When you experience a failure
it is because you have not asked
for enough. Keep on and a better
thing will certainly come to you."
- - Wallace Wattles
One of the teachings in the Gratitude book
is that we should be grateful for everything.
That's a tall order for someone new to the
process, 'cause we all have some things
that we feel are so negative that we just
can't be grateful for them.
Today I want to talk about failures. You
know, when you want something and you
don't get it? Repeat after me - "Thank you!"
You see, since the Universe is friendly to
us, there are times when the Universe
wants us to give up the good to get the
great. We don't always see it, because as
Wattles says in the quote above, we have
set our sights too low. When we are
refused the lesser, it can enable us to
see the greater.
Let me give you an example. One of my
favorite prosperity and spiritual writers is
Catherine Ponder. In her terrific book "The
Dynamic Laws of Prosperity" she tell the
story of a failure.
Early in her writing career she had great
success with articles, having them easily
accepted for publication.
Then, as she says, she "hit a snag."
Everything she wrote was rejected. She
tried everything and got nowhere, leaving
her battling a persistent feeling of failure.
However, as she continued to work on
understanding the laws of prosperity, she
said "it became evident that the rejections
were an indication that I was not thinking
big enough. The time had come for me to
write books. The rejection slips were
nothing but success trying to be born for
me in a bigger way."
With 14 best selling books, an international
following of millions of fans, and a listing in
"Who's Who" I guess she was right!
So that's why we can be grateful for failures.
We're often being given the chance to give
up the good for the great. Now, the great
might be a little outside our comfort zone
and we might have to grow and stretch to
fit in it, but that's good, right? Everything
we really want is always just outside our
comfort zone.
What are you grateful for today?
Wes

A Question of Meaning
What's life all about? Is it just a struggle to
stay above water, or a game to see who
dies with the most toys?
One of the best explanations of the real
meaning and purpose in life is done by
Bob Proctor and John Kanary in the
2-day seminar filmed for "Born Rich".
You'll see that you're not an accident;
that you were designed to create, and
that the Universe is cheering you on!
The personal stories will touch your
heart and the tools you learn will inspire
you to achieve more than you ever dared.
I have just a few copies left.
